ABOUT ME
My wife and I have been happily married for over 40 years. We've raised three successful young men. We're also very proud of our seven grandchildren. We understand firsthand what it takes to have a great marriage and build a healthy family.

I served six years in the United States Marine Corps as an infantryman. My wife also served eight years in the US Navy. We love God, Family, and Country.

I've been a professional counselor for over 30 years. I'm a board certified alcohol and drug counselor, certified clinical supervisor, and EMDR trauma certified. I attended Liberty University and North Florida Christian College. I received a Bachelor's degree in Christian Counseling and a Master's degree in Christian Social Work.
I'm approved through the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities and several professional counselor certification boards as a trainer for licensed and certified counselors. I provide training and supervision for new counselors and continuing education for experienced counselors.

I'm the author of two books: Midbrain and The Beast (it's about addiction and recovery) and Seven Keys to Finding Peace with God.

In my career I have worked in mental health hospitals, drug and alcohol treatment centers, and a faith-based addiction rehabilitation program. I also served as a part-time prison chaplain and church pastor for over ten years.
My passion and calling is helping people find freedom from anxiety and addiction through biblical principles and professional skills. And I enjoy teaching others to do the same.

I'm a professionally trained counselor with a Christian view of helping people get on the path of peace and success.

I look forward to meeting you,
