This book was given to me early in recovery from 20 years of opiate addiction and explained so much to me and my wife why people in addiction do what they do. We recommend it to anyone and have given many of them as gifts because we know it will help. I recently celebrated 11 years clean and sober and we serve in the celebrate recovery ministry giving back to others. If you have someone struggling with addiction or are struggling yourself get this easy to read book. It just may save your life by giving you the tools you need to break the chains. Scott Turner.
